Share Your Best Emergency Management and Response Practices at Water and Wastewater Utilities

Apr 12, 2016 | Amy Chang

The Water Research Foundation (WRF), with the American Water Works Association (AWWA), is conducting a research project titled “Innovative Preparedness and Response Practices to Support Water System Resilience” to identify best emergency management and response practices and procedures currently in use at drinking water and wastewater utilities. The ultimate goal of the project is to develop and distribute guidance so that utilities can learn about the practices of others that might be helpful at their own facilities.

As a public health professional, you understand the importance of safe drinking water and reliable sewage services in order to maintain public health. Your perspective and expertise is essential to the success of this project. Please take 5-10 minutes to complete the project survey. All answers to survey questions are considered confidential, and will not be shared outside of the research team without your consent. The deadline to complete the survey is May 6.

If it is more convenient to have a research team member call you, please email [email protected].

Thank you in advance for completing the survey; by sharing your knowledge and perspective, we can better increase resilience in the water and wastewater systems sector.
