The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center (MAAETC) and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Public Health Training Center have created a six-part interactive webinar series which has been designed to introduce diverse strategies for success in ending the opioid epidemic. Participants will hear from legal, social, medical, and community intervention experts in a strategy-gathering information exchange. The webinars will be an hour in length and will include Q&A as well as audience interaction via polling.
The first three webinars have already occurred, but there are three remaining in the series:
- February 25 (12:00pm EST): Medication-Assisted Treatment in a Rural Clinic
- March 3 (12:00pm EST): Syringe Service Programs
- March 10 (12:00pm EST): Using the Judicial System to Impact Mortality/Morbidity Rates for Opioid Misuse (Problem-Solving Courts)
