The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) is pleased to announce a call for applications for the 2020 Environmental Public Health Tracking: Tracking Mentoring Fellowship Program. They are seeking proposals from unfunded local public health agencies to work with a tracking program grantee on an environmental health project that utilizes tracking data. Intended to increase capacity at non-funded local public health agencies, the fellowship will provide an opportunity to an unfunded local health department to:
- Participate in a one-on-one mentorship with a current Tracking Program grantee
- Devise and implement an environmental health project that uses tracking data to address an environmental health issue, under the guidance of the grantee tracking program
- Learn key data utilization techniques to identify and characterize health effects, exposures, and hazards
- Develop a programmatic understanding of the tracking techniques and IT infrastructure that can be modeled around the needs and challenges of the region
The deadline to submit an application is February 28, 2020.
