NACCHO Adds LiveStories, Academy of Science as New Member Benefits

Sep 03, 2019 | Kim Rodgers

In an effort to deliver even more value to our members, NACCHO has created affinity partnerships with two companies — LiveStories and Academy of Science — that can help local health departments (LHDs) and public health professionals strengthen their data collection and analysis and gain better insight into their community health needs and outcomes.

Academy of Science

Academy of Science (AOS) helps LHDs with survey data/software and is a community for sharing best practices for survey data collection. AOS specializes in bringing LHDs together to share survey templates and LHD best practices for survey data collection. With the guidance of NACCHO members, AOS is working to bringing together the most qualified survey template library, where data can be benchmarked and aggregated at a national, state, and local level. This new member benefit is available only to NACCHO members and will provide you with:

  • Reduced survey software costs
  • Survey templates specifically for LHDs
  • HIPPA compliant survey technology
  • NACCHO member benchmarks and dashboards
  • Benchmarkable data on a national, state, and local level

Please join our webinar on Thursday, September 12 at 2 PM ET and learn how AOS is unifying the local health community on survey methodology. The first 100 members to register and attend this webinar will receive one free AOS user account with the purchase of one or more AOS user accounts.

LiveStories

LHDs want to connect with their communities and NACCHO wants to support that work, so we’re rolling out a set of 17 customized, interactive health reports exclusively to NACCHO members to provide tangible insights into your community’s health. We have partnered with LiveStories to create this Health Essentials Reports package, which is provided at an exclusive discount to NACCHO members only.

Sign up for our webinar on Wednesday, September 18 at 2 PM ET to learn why this health reports package will help you share data in a meaningful way that builds trust and partnership within your community. The first 10 members who register and attend the webinar will receive a special offer.

If you’re not a current NACCHO member, but would like to become one to take advantage of these new member benefits, email [email protected] or call 877.533.1320.

Editor’s Note: The affinity partnership with AOS expired on May 30, 2020. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].
