The National Academies’ Environmental Health Matters Initiative (EHMI) staff is currently collecting input regarding the topic of their first public workshop, Identifying Opportunities to Understand, Control, and Prevent Exposure to PFAS. The workshop will be held on September 26-27, 2019 and will discuss human exposure to perfluoroalkyl and polyfluroalkyl substances (PFAS) as well as innovative approaches to controlling and preventing exposure.
EHMI invites you to share your insights about exposure, control, and prevention of PFAS. What needs to be done? Who needs to act? What are the barriers to action? Your valuable input will help the organizing committee prepare and shape the workshop discussions.
Please submit your ideas no later than 11:59 PM August 19, 2019.
