The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of Adolescent and School Health has launched a newly developed Excel tool, teen-SPARC, which is designed to help public health jurisdictions and other entities explore the potential short-term impact of behavior change on reducing sexually transmitted infections among adolescents. teen-SPARC integrates data from the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System, but can also be useful to jurisdictions who do not have local YRBS data, and who either have alternative data sources or who wish to explore what-if scenarios.
CDC is hosting a webinar to provide an overview of teen-SPARC, including what the tool does, the inputs it builds on and outputs it provides, and how participants can use their own jurisdiction data to enter into the tool for local results.
