The Northeast Regional Center for Excellence in Vector-Borne Diseases (NEVBD) is establishing a pesticide resistance monitoring network covering the Northeastern region to support public health and mosquito control agencies in detecting pesticide resistance in mosquito populations.
The NEVBD’s resistance website has been updated with program information, including instructions for ordering the kits as well as guidelines for collecting and submitting mosquitoes directly to Cornell University to be tested in the NEVBD laboratory.
