Resource Guide: Integrating HIV Prevention and Care within Health Departments

Prevention and care divisions within health departments sometimes function in silos, contributing to reporting burdens and duplicative efforts among staff. Many health departments are moving toward a more integrated structure for their HIV prevention and care departments as a way to better leverage resources and improve efficiency and coordination of HIV prevention and care service delivery.

The new section of the online resource guide, compiled by the HRSA HAB-supported Integrated HIV/AIDS Planning Technical Assistance Center (IHAP TAC), offers resources to assist health departments seeking to integrate HIV prevention and care within their organizational structure.
