The National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD) has released a new toolkit, Priority Resource Dissemination Toolkit, which highlights useful resources for the implementation of school-based HIV and STI prevention interventions. The toolkit was developed collaboratively with NACCHO, Advocates for Youth (Advocates), and the School-Based Health Alliance (the Alliance) as part of Expanding Partnerships and Disseminating HIV Prevention Materials to Reduce HIV and other STDs among Adolescents through National Non-Governmental Organizations (PS16-1603), an initiative funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH).
The resources in the toolkit were evaluated and prioritized by NACCHO, Advocates, the Alliance, and NCSD based on their relevancy to the implementation of CDC-developed school-based approaches for health education, health services, and safe and supportive environments. The objective of the toolkit is to highlight the priority resources, provide sample social media posts for sharing the resources with various audiences through multiple channels, and offer suggestions for the best ways in which to share these resources with your constituencies.
