2019 Dr. R. Neil Lowry Grant

Mar 25, 2019 | Michelle Shapiro

The Dr. R. Neil Lowry Grant is a $5,000 grant that honors a public health official or department who has made outstanding contributions to advance the public’s health and safe use of recreational water in pools, spas and waterparks through educational, safety, operational, and technical programs.

The grant is given in the memory of Dr. Robert Neil Lowry, a long-time member of the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP) and Recreational Water Quality (RWQC) Committee, who influenced the pool and spa industry. For over 25 years, Dr. Lowry shared his industry expertise as a consultant to the government and private industry.

Grant nominations are accepted from public health officials/entities and from APSP members. Nomination forms for the Dr. R Neil Lowry Grant must be received by 5:00pm EDT Friday, May 10, 2019.
