Webinar Series: HIV Prevention Using PrEP

Feb 28, 2019 | Kim Rodgers

In honor of National Native HIV Awareness Day (March 20), the National Indian Health Service (IHS) HIV Program has announced a three-part series of HIV Prevention Webinars focused on pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). With 40,000 new HIV diagnoses annually in the United States, an unmet need exists for HIV prevention. Healthcare providers can take action by offering prevention services to their patients who are at risk for acquiring HIV. This series will help providers gain familiarity and understanding of the steps for implementing an HIV prevention option into clinical practice.

Please register individually (meaning, one registration per screen viewing) for the webinars, which are scheduled for:

  • Monday, March 18, 2019 02:00 PM – 03:00 PM
  • Thursday, March 21, 2019 08:00 PM – 09:00 PM
  • Tuesday, March 26, 2019 08:00 PM – 09:00 PM
