HPV Prevention Week is a one-week series of free webinars, social media campaigns, local events and more – including outreach to the general public through activities at the Raw Science Film Festival – to promote awareness about human papillomavirus (HPV) and HPV-related diseases.
The week was organized by the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) , Global Initiative Against HPV and Cervical Cancer (GIAHC) and Indiana University (IU), with support from numerous medical associations and institutions nationally and internationally.
These free webinars feature experts, patient perspectives, panel discussions, student presentations and a special screening of the short film Lady Ganga, and are intended for members of the public, patients, healthcare providers, and anyone else who wishes to learn more about various aspects of HPV-related disease and HPV prevention, including HPV vaccination.
