NACCHO Updates HPV Resource Guide for Local Health Departments

NACCHO is pleased to release an updated Fall 2018 edition of the Guide to Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Resources for Local Health Departments. The guide provides resources to assist local health departments (LHDs) in their overall efforts to increase HPV vaccination rates in their jurisdictions. The collection of print materials, audio/video communications, guidance, and other tools can assist LHDs with the development of HPV initiatives and vaccination campaigns, as well as assist with increasing awareness and knowledge of the HPV vaccine among parents, adolescents, and healthcare providers. In addition to highlighting resources developed by LHDs that participated in NACCHO’s HPV Demonstration Sites Project, the updated guide also details the valuable best practices and lessons learned from the project.
