NACCHO is seeking a Technical Consultant to work with its STD program to develop an implementation support package for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) forthcoming Recommendations for Providing Quality STD Clinical Services. The Recommendations will outline which STD-related clinical services should optimally be available in basic and specialized STD care settings. The consultant will work in collaboration with NACCHO, its CDC partners at the Division of STD Prevention (DSTDP), and an Advisory Group to develop the implementation support package which will include tools to assess current clinical service provision and support decision-making regarding possible changes to clinical service provision among other things. The consultant will provide context expertise, guidance, and input on the operationalization of the Recommendations including writing content and the designing of tools.
