Through four consecutive cohorts, the National Immunization Partnership with the APA (NIPA) HPV Immunization Learning Collaborative has proven an effective model for improving HPV vaccination rates. Local health departments, pediatric and family medicine practices, and other immunization providers have participated in this nine-month, virtual, quality improvement (QI) project, which assists participants in QI methodology and evidence-based strategies to increase immunization rates and reduce missed opportunities for HPV vaccine administration.
In this webinar, NIPA described the Learning Collaborative, reviewed outcomes from prior NIPA cohorts, shared experiences of LHDs who’ve previously participated, and explain how to enroll and sign up. The webinar was not recorded due to technical difficulties, but the presentation slides are available to view.
NACCHO encourages its members to consider participating with NIPA in order to improve HPV immunization coverage in your communities.
