The Disease Prevention and Response (Epidemiology) Branch within the National Park Service (NPS) Office of Public Health recently launched a new website to highlight its work. The Branch serves to prevent, detect, and respond to disease transmission within the National Parks using a One Health perspective, which recognizes that the health of people, animals, and the environment are all related. The sites key features include disease specific information and a mechanism for people to report diseases they think they may have acquired in a National Park.
