A health impact assessment (HIA) is an approach to identify how a proposed policy or project might impact a community and the health of its citizens. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) conducted a rapid HIA to assist Dover, DE in making a decision about turning a former EPA brownfield site into an aquaponics food production site.
