Apply: W.K. Kellogg Foundation Community Leadership Network

Sep 04, 2018 | Kim Rodgers

The Center for Creative Leadership, with the support of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF), is seeking applicants for the next class of the WKKF Community Leadership Network – an innovative fellowship program for local leaders to connect, grow and lead transformational change on behalf of children, families and communities. I’m reaching out to organizations I believe have members or audiences who would be interested and the right fit. This year, WKKF is particularly looking for people working in government, so local health department employees are encouraged to apply.

The WKKF Community Leadership Network is an 18-month program offering hands-on training, personalized coaching, community-based support and a place-based culminating project experience. Throughout the program, fellows gain critical knowledge and skills for navigating today’s challenges and advancing racial equity and racial healing in communities. The program unites a diverse group of leaders from WKKF’s priority places of Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico and New Orleans, as well as nationally. In addition to the program itself, fellows become part of a vast network of 1,700+ alumni who can provide ongoing resources and support to effect systemic change.

Selected participants will join the program from March 2019 through August 2020. The class of 80 fellows will represent four cohorts from WKKF’s priority places of Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico and New Orleans, as well as one national cohort.

Applications will be accepted September 5-30, 2018, via the online portal on the website.
