The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) is assisting the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) in planning a series of PulseNet/OutbreakNet Regional Meetings in 2019.
These regional meetings will bring together federal, state, and local laboratorians, epidemiologists, and environmental health specialists to facilitate the exchange of expertise and discussions on enteric surveillance and outbreak response activities, and to build collaborations.
NEHA is currently forming the agenda planning committees and needs environmental health representatives. Please email Elizabeth Landeen at [email protected] with the subject line “Volunteer for Regional Planning Committee” by Friday, August 31, 2018 if you are interested in being a member of the agenda planning committee for your region.
