CDC’s Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention (DHAP) released their 2014 Annual Report highlighting the division’s programmatic activities in 2014. This report discusses progress made towards DHAP’s mission of closing the gaps in HIV prevention, diagnosis, care, and awareness in the United States and celebrated successes such as supporting the delivery of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). Other efforts include expanding programs to link HIV positive individuals to care while also reminding readers that nationally, viral suppression remains low and young gay and bisexual men of color continue to be disproportionately affected by the epidemic.
